Artist Licensing Q&A

How can I submit my artwork for licensing with Stupell Industries?

It is very easy to submit your artwork for licensing with Stupell Industries, just fill out our Licensing Contact form with the link or address to your art portfolio. Our Art Director can review your website, Instagram, or even Etsy shop to review artwork. If we find that you are a good fit for our program line, you can submit low-resolution artwork for review via email. We just ask that you only present artwork that is available for licensing.

What kind of art are you looking for?

We are always looking for new and exciting artwork to add to our product line. We generally accept AI Created Artwork, and tend to avoid surface design and patterns.

We recommend compiling a collection of 15-30 images that are available for licensing. Our program line includes sizes up to 36"x48”, 30”x45”, 36”x36” and 20”x48”. We ask that you avoid submitting artwork that cannot be scaled up to our largest sizes.

What type of licensing do you offer?

All our requests are for non-exclusive licensing. We want you to be able to profit as much as you can from your own original works. Our Licensing Manager can offer more insight during the licensing process.

What happens after I submit my artwork?

It typically takes one week for our team to review new artwork submissions. Our Art Director or Licensing Manager will reach out through email to notify you if we would like to move forward with licensing. We ask that you do not call us directly on the status of your licensing request.

How long does it take for my artwork to go live as products?

It takes approximately 2-3 months from receiving artwork for products to go live. We are always implementing programs to improve our processes in hopes of cutting this time down.

Where will my licensed products be listed?

Stupell Industries lists their products directly on their website, as well as multiple marketplaces including Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, Beyond, Kohl’s, Home Depot, Michaels, Lowes, Faire and more. Our team also works closely with retail stores to bring artwork to HomeGoods, At Home, Ross, Home Centric and Winners CA. If an artwork is licensed for a retail store, our Licensing Manager will reach out to you directly.
